Gnabry Comeback

Serge Gnabry Injured Again After Impressive Comeback

Bayern Munich winger ruled out for several weeks

Gnabry had just returned from a series of injury lay-offs

Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry has been ruled out for several weeks with a muscle strain, the club have confirmed. The 27-year-old had only just returned from a series of injury lay-offs and made an impressive comeback, but he will now miss the remainder of the season.

Gnabry suffered the injury in Bayern's 3-0 win over Union Berlin on Saturday. He was substituted off in the 65th minute and was replaced by Kingsley Coman. Bayern have not confirmed the extent of the injury, but it is believed to be a grade 2 muscle strain, which could keep him out for up to six weeks.

This is a major blow for Bayern, who are already without a number of key players for the run-in. Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernandez, and Sadio Mane are all long-term absentees, while Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka are both doubts for the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Gnabry's injury is also a blow for Germany, who are due to play Hungary, England, and the Netherlands in the Nations League in June. The winger has been a key player for Germany in recent years and his absence will be a significant loss.
