EURO 2024: Croatia's Group Confirmed

Tough Draw for 2022 World Cup Semi-Finalists

Croatia has been drawn into Group B alongside Albania, Italy, and Spain for the upcoming EURO 2024 tournament. The draw, which took place in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9, 2023, has set the stage for an exciting and competitive group stage for the Croatian team.

Veterans Aim for Success

Croatia, the 2018 World Cup finalists, boast an experienced roster for EURO 2024. With a combined 722 international caps among the 26-man squad, Croatia has the most experienced team in the tournament in terms of caps. Led by captain Luka Modrić, the Croatian team will be aiming to make a deep run in the competition and challenge for the title.

Tough Group Challenges Ahead

However, Croatia's path to the knockout stages will not be easy. They will face tough competition from Italy, a four-time European champion, and Spain, the defending champion. Albania, while not as experienced, should not be underestimated and could provide an upset. The group stage matches will be played from June 14 to June 28, 2024, across various cities in Germany.

Croatia's opening match will be against Albania on June 14. They will then face Italy on June 18 and Spain on June 22. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages.
